あの空の巨大な個性だって雲があれば・・とある女性が言った。

少年はある男のデータをあつめ、つらいと感じた時、心のなかでつぶやいた。

「おおいつくすんだ」

少年が、そらをぼーっとみている。風がふくたびツーブロックの少年の髪がなびく。風でくずれた髪型も気にせず、ずっと空をみている。

A boy gazes blankly at the sky. Whenever the wind blows, the boy's two-block hair flutters. He is staring at the sky, not caring about his wind-disheveled hair.



強い風がふいたと同時に少年は、こうつぶやいた。

「空をみるのはたのしい、空には広い自由がある」

「ここには空の自由はない。」

「だから空がうらやましい。でもたいようはきらい。」

「空の自由をひとりじめしてるから。」

あのたいように勝つことができたら、もしつよく勝つことができたなら空のような自由をてにいれられるかもしれない。


そばにいる黒い服の女性がやさしい声でこたえる。



喪服の女性「巨大な雲なら、たいようを見えなくすることができるわね。」

少年「...」

喪服の女性「雲でおおいつくせばあの太陽にもきっとかてるはずよ」

少年「うん」

喪服の女性「けれど、あなたにできる？」

喪服の女性「あの空の自由は翼を広げても許される自由で」
喪服の女性「本来てをのばしてもとどかない自由です」

喪服の女性「ひとりじめしてる太陽は・・私もすきになれない」




少年がとなりをみると、さっきまでいたはずの喪服の女性は消えていた。

少年は気にすることなく家に帰っていった。むだのいっさいない美しい時間だったと少年は感じ満足していた。疑問は消え、こたえがみつかり、行動を静かにうながされ、そして実行にうつす勇気をもらったからだ。


空の巨大な個性、雲でかくせば力を発揮できない。

永遠におおいつくせばいい。あの男も・・・。この日から少年は、ある男のデータを収集することになる。

少年が走り去った後、さきほどの喪服の女性が現れつぶやいた。「またあいましょう。」
